    The name “Piovesole” is inspired by a novella by Cesare Pavese that describes the moment when the sun comes out after the rain, making the light in the vineyard magical. It’s poetic and sweet, like this Amarone, obtained through careful selection of the harvest time to produce a dry and fresh wine, typical of Eleva wines. It features spicy notes of black pepper conferred by 20% of Corvinone and a deeper color thanks to non-aromatic varieties in the blend. It comes from a single vineyard on terraces supported by dry stone walls, and with the 2018 harvest, it obtained organic certification.
